Seasonal Affective Disorder
Seasonal Affective Disorder is a type of depression that often occurs during the change of season, more so during a particular season in a year. As per the International Classification of Diseases ( ICD-11), this seasonal pattern of change in mood usually happens within the context of recurrent depressive disorder and bipolar disorders. It is important to note that a seasonal pattern is different from an episode that is coincidental with a particular season and is majorly related to other psychological stressors (e.g seasonal unemployment)
