Claustrophobia is a specific phobia where being in confined or enclosed spaces triggers intense fear or anxiety. It may show up in everyday situations like elevators, small rooms, or crowded areas.
Claustrophobia comes under anxiety and fear-related disorders, specifically under the heading of specific phobias.
